Jr. First Lego League
On Friday, November 13th, the 3rd graders went to the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond. With so many things to see, do, and explore, the students had such a fun time!
The kids got to make clouds in a bottle using air pressure!
Spiders, snakes, and many other squirmy things were here.
Many of the kids wanted a chance to pet this snake.
This set-up allowed students to see the inner workings of a bee colony!
How can simple machines help to make our work easier?
In the Dome Theater ready to watch, The Forces of Nature! We learned about the work of volcanologists, seismologists, and "tornado chasers".
In the Science Unplugged area.
One quick picture before we head back to school!
